New details have been revealed that one of Biden’s green card holders and Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipient is among one of the suspects in last week’s ICE ambush in Alvarado, Texas, where a group of individuals set off fireworks to draw law enforcement officers out of an ICE detention center and began shooting.
Obama’s DACA program granted protections and work authorization to illegal aliens who came into the United States as minors.
Ten people were charged with attempted murder connected to the incident that left one police officer injured with a gunshot wound to the neck. An eleventh person reportedly faces charges of obstruction of justice and conspiracy for attempting to conceal and destroy evidence.
Fox’s Peter Doocy asked President Trump earlier on Wednesday about the breaking news about one of the suspects being a noncitizen and apparently previously coming across the border illegally.

Doocy: I just got a text from our colleague John Roberts. He says that we are now reporting, the guy who was arrested in the Alvarado, Texas incident for tampering with the evidence was a green card recipient under the Biden administration and a prior DACA recipient. What do you think of that?
Trump: It’s very sad. It’s very bad. A lot of them are here. We came in, and 21 million—I think it’s higher than that, by the way—But they say, 21 million people came in. Many of them are criminals. Many of them are murderers. 11,888 is what they say, are murderers, and they came in through open border policies, no checking, no vetting, no nothing. And we have a lot of that, and despite that, we have crime down, which is pretty amazing.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, a Texas police officer was shot in the neck late Friday night in an attack by an armed group outside the ICE Prairieland Detention Center in Alvarado, located just south of Dallas-Fort Worth.
Days later, on Monday, another individual was shot dead after he ambushed Border Patrol agents, armed with a rifle and tactical gear, outside of a Border Patrol facility in McAllen, Texas.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, ICE agents have seen a “nearly 700% increase in assaults against them — up from 500% a few weeks ago.
