One of the globalist left’s most beloved figures was caught spreading a despicable lie on the nation’s most popular podcast about Elon Musk and his work with DOGE, and got promptly schooled in the process.
Irish singer Bono appeared as a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience to discuss his new book and his passion for shaking down wealthy foreign governments to give valuable taxpayer dollars to poorer nations. During their discussion, Bono uttered this whopper about what DOGE did in slashing one of the worst government agencies of all: USAID.
“It’s not proven, but surveillance suggests 300,000 people have already died from this cut-off, this hard cut of USAID,” Bono alleged. “So, there’s food rotting in boats and warehouses…This will f**k you off.”
“No American will be happy. There is 50,000 tons of food that are stored in Djibouti, South Africa, Dubai, and wait for it, Houston, Texas that is rotting,” he added. “Because the people who know the codes at the warehouses are fired, they’re gone.”
(Addressing Rogan) “What do you think? That’s not America, is it?”
There is absolutely no evidence that these needed USAID cuts are responsible for any deaths in the world. But Bono has never been one to care about the truth.
Thankfully, Rogan disagreed with Bono’s garbage. Instead, he calmly countered with the cold, hard truth.
“There have been a lot of organizations that have done a tremendous amount of good all throughout the world,” Rogan countered. “Also, for sure, it was a money-laundering operation.”
“For sure, there was no oversight, for sure, billions of dollars were missing,” he continued. “In fact, trillions that are unaccounted for were sent off to (who knows) where, because there are no receipts.”
“The way Elon Musk described it, he said if any of this was done by a public company, the company would be delisted and the executives would be in prison. But in the United States, this is standard.”
