The DOJ’s Civil Rights Division is requesting election information from Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson.
This is a new DOJ and it looks like they mean business. On Monday, the DOJ sent a letter to Michigan’s Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson requesting information related to the state’s elections.
The DOJ requests information related to Michigan’s 2022 and 2024 elections. The comprehensive list of items covers numerous categories with excellent questions. Here is an example of one question.
The DOJ goes on to note that neither the State nor any of the counties provided a response to Question A12h regarding how many duplicate records were removed from the statewide voter registration list.

The DOJ cc’d in the letter, Director of Elections, Jonathan Brater, who is in hot water already for having told election workers to destroy records in a clear violation of federal law.

Brater, who works for Benson, also reportedly was caught under oath committing perjury.

The 2024 Election in Michigan also had anomalies that can’t be explained away. For example, it was reported that Michigan had 500,000 more voter registrations than voters and yet the Secretary of State moved ahead with the election.
