Newsweek magazine has said that President Trump has had the most successful first six months in office since Franklin D. Roosevelt.

The outlet says that this conclusion is the result of an analysis that it conducted using OpenAI’s popular large language model ChatGPT.

Their report states:

Newsweek asked ChatGPT to rank the accomplishments of 20th and 21st century U.S. presidents in their first six months, taking account of the level of support they enjoyed in Congress.

The model gave Trump an overall score of “very high,” thanks to legislation such as the One Big Beautiful Bill and Laken Riley Acts.

…

The AI analysis concluded that the first six months of Trump’s second term were the most productive since Roosevelt’s first term in 1933.

In his first 100 days, Roosevelt passed 15 New Deal statutes, including the Emergency Banking Act.

However, their analysis was undermined by the fact that Joe Biden was rated as having the third-best first 100 days because he passed he $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan, the COVID-19 Hate Crimes Act, and a bill making Juneteenth a federal holiday.

While Democrats may view these as significant achievements, Biden’s first 100 days were also marked by soaring double-digit inflation and an opening up of the southern border to millions of illegal immigrants.

Yet Trump’s accomplishments go way beyond just the passage of two pieces of legislation.

Since taking office in January, Trump has successfully secured the southern border, ramped up deportations of illegal immigrants, helped dismantle Iran’s nuclear program, cut billions of dollars in waste and fraud, and reduced prices by allowing America to embrace energy independence.

Although Franklin D. Roosevelt is often regarded as a left-winger, he remains a popular figure among Americans after successfully leading the country through its two greatest crises, the Great Depression and World War II.

His New Deal programs, while socialistic in nature, provided jobs and relief during economic collapse. His popularity was proven by the fact that he was elected four consecutive times and died in office.

Those who have succeeded him, most notably Joe Biden, have sought to replicate his style of leadership and failed miserably.
