President Trump on Tuesday put rioters on notice that their activities will not be tolerated this weekend during an Army anniversary celebration in Washington, D.C., and they will “end up in jail for a long period of time.”
The celebration will feature a parachute jump, a concert, fireworks, and a speech by President Trump. You can register for tickets here.
President Trump warned that these leftwing radicals will be “met with very heavy force” if they attempt to disrupt the parade in D.C.
WATCH:
Trump: We’re going to be celebrating big on Saturday. And if there’s any protester that wants to come out, they will be met with very big force, by the way. And for those people who want to protest, they’re going to be met with very big force. And I haven’t even heard about a protest, but you know, this is people that hate our country. They will be met with very heavy force.
Later on Tuesday evening, the President clarified, “The military will be a very heavy force,” and the rioters “might as well turn around.”
WATCH:
Reporter: There could be some really big protests this weekend. Are you—
Trump: As long as we have the military there, the protests won’t mean anything. Last night, If we weren’t there, they would have burned down the city, but they did not do a lot of damage, other than they broke up a lot of concrete looking for weapons. You know those are weapons. If that hits somebody in the head, the person’s dead. You know that, right?
Reporter: What did you mean when you said protesters would be met with a very heavy force?
Trump: The military will be a very heavy force. I’m very proud to tell you that. They might as well turn around. They’re wasting their time. Some of them will end up in jail for a long period of time. They use weapons. That concrete is a weapon, a dangerous weapon, worse than a brick, heavier than a brick. And they were dropping it off bridges and throwing it at soldiers and police. They’re not doing that.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the President announced that a massive celebration of the Army’s 250th anniversary will be held in Washington, D.C. on June 14.
President Trump Announces “Magnificent Parade” in DC to Celebrate 250th Anniversary of US Army
Events will be held throughout the day in D.C. to commemorate the Army’s anniversary, and the parade is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET.
Also, this weekend, the radical left and illegal aliens across the country are mobilizing for a takeover of every major U.S. city to stop the government from executing immigration laws. As The Gateway Pundit reported, the so-called “No Kings” protests are being orchestrated by extremist groups like the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Indivisible, and the 50501 Movement.
This comes after the President deployed the National Guard and 700 Marines to stop the insurrectionists and foreign invaders wreaking havoc on California.
Rioters began looting businesses in Los Angeles over the weekend, in addition to lighting cars on fire across the city, attacking law enforcement, destroying police cars, and hurling explosives at an ICE facility.
