President Trump spoke to reporters at Joint Base Andrews on Tuesday upon returning to Washington after his speech at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he addressed the ongoing insurrection in Los Angeles and his ongoing fight with local officials.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, the President has deployed the National Guard and 700 Marines to stop the insurrectionists and foreign invaders wreaking havoc on California.
California’s Democrat Governor Newsom and failed Democrat LA Mayor Karen Bass have blamed the feds for the violence and filed a lawsuit against the President’s use of federal troops.
After disembarking Air Force One, President Trump told reporters that if he didn’t send federal troops in, “Los Angeles would be burning down right now, just like the houses burned down,” in reference to the wildfires earlier this year.
When asked if he thinks anything can go wrong by involving the military, the President responded, “it can only go right. By having the military, it de-escalates.” He continued, “These people are agitators, they’re troublemakers, I believe many of them are paid. I watched them breaking up the sidewalks with a big hammer, handing pieces of the concrete to other people.”
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump addressed the uprising of leftists and “foreign enem[ies]” and announced for the first time during his speech at Fort Bragg that the Department of Justice is investigating who is funding the insurrectionists. This comes as a black pick up truck was spotted providing the rioters with masks and other riot essentials on Monday.
“Somebody’s financing it, and we’re going to find out through Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice who it is,” he said. “Under the Trump administration, this anarchy will not stand. We will not allow federal agents to be attacked, and we will not allow an American city to be invaded and conquered by a foreign enemy.”
Earlier on Tuesday, President Trump also threatened to invoke the Insurrection Act if the lawlessness in Los Angeles continues. And he should! Also, if a group is paying rioters and inciting an uprising to stop the federal government from carrying out its lawful authority, which is likely the case, the DOJ ought to bring charges for seditious conspiracy. It can be recalled that members of the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers faced these exact charges for January 6.
“Somebody is paying for that. I watched total professionals. He’s banging the curb, banging the granite, banging the concrete. And he had a whole group of people —they lined up like totally professional —grabbed the big chunks, and they dropped it on the soldiers. They dropped it on the Los Angeles Police,” he told Real America’s Voice during the gaggle.
“These are insurrectionists, they’re agitators, or troublemakers. At a minimum, they’re troublemakers.”
The President also addressed California Governor Gavin Newsom’s claim that the Trump lied about calling him. As The Gateway Pundit reported, President Trump released the receipts on Tuesday, showing that Newsom lied about Trump never calling him. “The proof was from the phone company,” Trump said. “I told him he’s got to get his act together, because you’re going to have some bad times in Los Angeles if he doesn’t.”
