One of the few bright lights on the channel, sometimes referred to as the Clinton News Network, has been a conservative strategist and Trump supporter, Scott Jennings. Time and again, he has gone into the lion’s den to take on deranged leftists. He proved his mettle again today while schooling a prominent Democratic congresswoman from Michigan about the real problems facing her party while suggesting a path forward.
As TGP readers know, Democrats have been in a political tailspin because they are not only consumed with Trump Derangement Syndrome, but they also have taken positions so radical that they are unacceptable to every reasonable American citizen.
But even the more ‘reasonable’ Democratic elected officials see only the first part of the problem. On Sunday, Rep. Debbie Dingell (D-MI) bemoaned during CNN’s morning show “State of the Union” that Democrats are too defined by being against President Trump while claiming they don’t have an actual agenda.
“Democrats have to stop being against Donald Trump and start being for something,” she said.
But Jennings, who was sitting beside her, knew better. He roasted Dingell by offering sarcastic praise for the positions Democrats hold dear to their hearts.
“I’ll defend the Democrats; they are for things,” Jennings retorted. “Illegal aliens, you’re for boys in girls’ sports…You are for things, and that’s why you’re having such struggles right now.”
“You’re not on the right side of any of the 80/20 issues that are driving this cultural divide,” he added.

Jennings also mocked Minnesota Governor Tim Walz as a “special mixture of extreme buffoonery and a mean spirit, which is a toxic brew,” while suggesting who should lead the party in the future: Maryland Governor Wes Moore.
“I think Wes Moore is actually a pretty talented communicator,” Jennings said. “Moore is more interesting than the current radicals out there. AOC, Crockett, those are the true leaders of your party.”
“You’d be better off replacing them with Moore.”
Let’s hope the Democrats are not smart enough to take Jennings’s advice.
