Failed presidential candidate Kamala Harris made a ‘surprise appearance’ at this year’s Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute charity benefit in New York City on Monday evening.
Kamala Harris and her grifter husband, Doug Emhoff, arrived in New York this weekend and took 25 Secret Service Agents and bodyguards to date night at an exclusive New York bar on Sunday night ahead of the festivities.
Additionally, four bulletproof vehicles and three SUVs were waiting outside of The Polo Bar for Kamala Harris and her husband.
The pair reportedly made an appearance at The Polo Bar ahead of Monday’s star-studded Met Gala.
Harris donned a custom black-and-white silk gown designed by Off-White Creative Director IB Kamara, according to Vogue.
Harris reportedly skipped the Met Gala’s red carpet event but she still faced backlash for attending the $75,000 per ticket gala.
