Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) is famous in the U.S. Senate for his incisive wit and dry sense of humor. He has displayed these talents as an elected official, whether by stumping unqualified Biden nominees or in interviews with reporters.
On Tuesday, Fox News’s Sean Hannity held a “town hall” with multiple GOP senators, including Senate Majority Leader John Thune of South Dakota, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Katie Britt of Alabama, and Kennedy. The senators discussed the ongoing budget negotiations to deliver Trump’s agenda and tariffs with Hannity.
But Kennedy stole the show when Hannity decided to ask the senators about the Democratic Party’s most vocal leaders, including far-left Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY).
“What do you think of the new leadership Jasmine (Crockett), AOC, and Bernie (Sanders)?” Hannity asked.
“I consider Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez to be the leader of the Democratic Party,” Kennedy responded. “She’s entitled to her opinion. I’m entitled to mine.”
Kennedy next dropped arguably the funniest and most brutal one-liner of the year in politics while comparing AOC to a standard household product.
“As I have said about her before, I think that she’s the reason there are directions on a shampoo bottle,” he added while the other GOP Senators and Hannity laughed.
Absolutely devastating.

Then Kennedy humorously revealed precisely what the GOP’s plan was for handling the radical-left congresswoman.
“And our plan for dealing with her is called ‘Operation let her speak,’” he stated.
Not only is this the best strategy for dealing with AOC, but the same strategy could apply to almost every member of the Democratic Party. One of the most enduring reasons why Trump remains powerful is because of how the American people judge him against his incompetent leftist enemies.
