Today, April 1st, Wisconsin stands at a crossroads that could determine the future of not just the state, but the entire nation.
The stakes couldn’t be higher in the race for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, where conservative warrior Brad Schimel is locked in a do-or-die battle against a radical leftist agenda.
If Schimel doesn’t win, Democrats are poised to seize control, redraw congressional maps, and snatch at least two Republican House seats in 2026.
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries has openly stated that a liberal majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court is their ticket to revisiting and redrawing the state’s congressional maps.
During a Democratic National Committee update broadcast last week, Jeffries talked with DNC Chair Ken Martin about the importance of Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election on Tuesday.
Jeffries explained:
In Wisconsin, that’s a 50-50 race, because we know Wisconsin’s a 50-50 state, and we have a strong Democratic candidate. Whoever wins is going to determine who has the majority in the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Why is that important? Because there are gerrymandered congressional lines right now in Wisconsin. Wisconsin’s a 50-50 state, as I mentioned, but there are six Republicans and only two Democrats out of an eight-person delegation, because the lines are broken.
And as soon as possible, we need to be able to revisit that and have fair lines. The only way for that to be even a significant possibility is if you have an enlightened Supreme Court. And so I think that’s an incredibly important race.
Wisconsin’s legislative maps have long been a topic of contention. While state legislative districts were redrawn for the 2024 elections, the congressional districts remained unchanged after the Wisconsin Supreme Court declined to reconsider them. Electing Susan Crawford could open the door for Democrats to push for redistricting that favors their agenda.
It’s also worth noting the unprecedented spending in this race, with over $90 million poured into the campaigns, making it the most expensive judicial election in U.S. history. George Soros donated $1 million to the Wisconsin Democratic Party, while former Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker contributed $500,000. Subsequently, the Democrat party transferred $2 million to Crawford’s campaign.
Conservative candidate Brad Schimel, a former Wisconsin Attorney General and Waukesha County judge, has secured endorsements from President Donald Trump and billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk.
Trump, who flipped Wisconsin red in 2016 and 2024, released a statement on Truth Social:
“WISCONSIN: There is a very important Election for State Supreme Court on April 1st, and Early Voting is now underway. Brad Schimel is running against Radical Left Liberal Susan Crawford, who has repeatedly given child molesters, rapists, women beaters, and domestic abusers ‘light’ sentences.
She is the handpicked voice of the Leftists who are out to destroy your State, and our Country — And if she wins, the Movement to restore our Nation will bypass Wisconsin. All Voters who believe in Common Sense should GET OUT TO VOTE EARLY for Brad Schimel.
By turning out and VOTING EARLY, you will be helping to Uphold the Rule of Law, Protect our Incredible Police, Secure our Beloved Constitution, Safeguard our Inalienable Rights, and PRESERVE LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL. SO IMPORTANT – PLEASE GET OUT AND VOTE. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

In another post, Trump wrote, “Brad Schimel’s Opponent, Susan Crawford, is a DISASTER! She is so Far Left that even her own Party, the Radical Democrats, don’t want ANYTHING to do with her. Wisconsin Values are perfectly represented by Brad Schimel. He is Conservative, Strong and, above all, SANE. His Opponent is a Liberal Lunatic who will throw our Country, and the State of Wisconsin, into TOTAL CHAOS. Vote for Brad Schimel!”
Elon Musk has also thrown his considerable weight behind Brad Schimel.
Musk hosted two high-energy town hall events—Sunday in Green Bay and a tele-town hall on Monday—urging voters to back Schimel in today’s election.
Musk, fresh off his instrumental role in President Donald Trump’s 2024 victory, took the stage at the KI Convention Center in Green Bay on Sunday night wearing a Packers cheesehead hat—a nod to local pride that drew roaring approval from the 2,000-strong crowd.
“This is a super big deal,” Musk declared, emphasizing the stakes of the April 1 election.
“I’m not phoning it in. I’m here in person to fight for freedom, for fair elections, and for the future of America.” He went on to endorse Schimel explicitly, calling him “Super Judge Schimel.”
“And if the (Wisconsin) Supreme Court is able to redraw the districts, they will gerrymander the district and deprive Wisconsin of two seats on the Republican side. Then they will try to stop all the government reforms we are getting done for you, the American people,” Musk said.
On Monday, Musk followed up with a tele-town hall, ensuring his message reached even more Wisconsin voters as the clock ticks down to Election Day.
““This could be the future of everything here.. That’s why I’m asking you to do and to annoy your friends and family and neighbors and everything else,” said Musk.

Elon Musk in his closing pitch, said, “I think this election… there’s a good chance it decides whether Republicans or Democrats control the House of Representatives because if Brad Schimel does not win.. they’re going to redraw the Wisconsin districts and Wisconsin voters will be disenfranchised of two Republican House votes.”

The future of Wisconsin is at stake unless conservatives show up in droves to vote for Brad Schimel. Make it too big to rig.
